Software Sales Consultant

MojoTech is a consultancy that designs and engineers distributed systems and mobile applications for big, and soon-to-big companies – helping enterprises move faster, and startups build smarter.


We’re looking for a sales leader to help us bring our exceptional software development services to world-class organizations. The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience working as a consultative salesperson to close serious software projects for large enterprises. The position can be based out of one of our offices (Boulder, CO or Providence, RI), or fully remote (within the US). 


Ideal Candidate Profile

Sales professionals with experience selling large-scale software development projects (digital transformation, new product development, team augmentation, etc.) who would like to work with an organization focused on high quality technical execution.

Responsibilities

  • Introduce MojoTech’s capabilities to potential new clients
  • Work closely with our executive team to frame and negotiate business/technical needs, approach, and project scope
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to develop proposals
  • Drive overall process to combine technical plans and creative concepts into proposals and presentations
  • Lead pitches and develop strategic client relationships
  • Work with clients to expand partnerships and extend services
  • Ability to travel for client visits, conferences, and other business development opportunities. (Less than 10% travel)

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years closing services deals in software / application outsourcing, digital transformation, team augmentation, cloud migration, etc.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in enterprise sales with yearly sales target of $10M+ 
  • Existing credibility and relationships and with organizations in need for high quality custom software development
  • Understanding of software development and design trends
  • Ability to interface and negotiate with senior executives
  • Motivated to compete on quality rather than price

Compensation

  • Base salary $60,000-$100,000 + commission (on-target earnings 2-3x base)
