Meet Conrad, Our New Product Manager.

Conrad is passionate about uncovering and resolving user pain. He has experience in both Digital Advertising and Insurance Technology. Conrad loves taking nebulous ideas and turning them into concrete products that solve real problems. He has a personal and professional interest in Design. Outside of the office, Conrad loves cooking, skiing, mountain biking, and travel. He is a fluent Spanish speaker who has traveled much of Latin America.

What experiences and/or education led you to your new job at MojoTech?

The experience of watching users struggle through pieces of my product, with no agency to help them myself.

Before your life at MojoTech, what was the most interesting project on which you ever worked?

Detailed segmentation project that identified large and small scale trends and groups across our API customer based.

What do you enjoy most about Product Management? And, what do you enjoy least?

Trying to balance granular details with high-level vision. Extremely long test plans.

What personal characteristics do you feel are necessary to be a successful product manager?

Communication, creativity, and ability to delegate.

What do you get out of Product Management that you couldn’t get from any other type of work?

The ability to be rewarded for failing fast.

Describe a time when you confronted a problem that really tested your product know-how.

How to rewrite a large portion of a critical API without large scale service interruption.

Now that you’re at MojoTech, what excites you most?

The challenges and opportunities to learn, that each different client provides.

You’ve been banished to a deserted island with—gasp—no Internet, but lots of power outlets. What one piece of technology would you bring?

A Kindle with tons of preloaded books.

If you weren’t a Product Manager, what occupation would you choose?

Chef or Actor.

What is your idea of happiness?

Skiing with friends amongst the trees in deep, fluffy snow.
